About Me π
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the National Research Center for Information Science and Technology (BNRist), Tsinghua University, working with Associate Researcher Tao Yu and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Qionghai Dai.
I received my Ph.D. in Engineering from the spAtial Sensing and Computing Lab (ASC), Key Laboratory of Multimedia Trusted Perception and Efficient Computing, National Institute for Data Science in Health and Medicine, Fujian Key Laboratory of Sensing and Computing for Smart City at Xiamen University, where I was advised by Associate Prof. Siqi Shen and Prof. Cheng Wang starting in 2022. I received my M.Eng. in Computer Technology from Huaqiao University in 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Yewang Chen.
I have maintained long-term collaborations with Researcher Lan Xu and Associate Prof. Yuexin Ma at ShanghaiTech University. I have also contributed to research projects and scientific training systems for the Chinese National Climbing Team. π§
My research focuses on the perception, understanding, and modeling of human motion in complex real-world environments, with particular interests in:
- 3D vision
- Multimodal human motion capture
- Biomechanical motion analysis
- Embodied observation
My core expertise lies in designing and building multimodal data acquisition systems from the ground up. These systems integrate sensors such as RGB cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, event cameras, and motion-capture devices to collect high-quality human motion data in challenging real-world scenarios, including rock climbing, athletic training, complex environments, and high-speed motion. π·π‘
In recent years, I have gradually expanded my research from external human motion reconstruction toward:
- anatomically consistent estimation of human skeletal and muscular states;
- biomechanical analysis for competitive sports and rehabilitation medicine;
- retargeting real-world human motion to humanoid robots and evaluating robot motion;
- active observation of human and animal behavior using embodied intelligent systems.
As a life-loving INFJ, I am always curious about people, motion, and the world around me. π
